Booking, delivery and permits
How far in advance do I need to book a dumpster, and can you deliver the same day?
Most customers book 24-48 hours ahead which guarantees availability for all sizes and locations. Same day delivery is available in PA, NJ, DE, and MD if the order is placed before 9 AM.
Do I need a permit to put a dumpster on the street?
Yes, most towns require a street permit for dumpsters being placed on public property. The customer must apply for a street permit. Most people are able to receive a permit same day. Customers typically apply through their town’s Public Works or Codes Department. Just depends on your location.
Will the dumpster damage my driveway or lawn?
Driveway protection is always a good idea. 3 pieces of 2x6 or plywood will usually work - ask Sales Rep. Placing on the lawn or dirt can create ruts from truck & dumpster.
Pricing and weight
How much does a dumpster rental cost and what is included in the price?
Dumpster costs depend on dumpster size. WRS prices by the following size dumpsters:
Prices include:

- The listed weight included
- Standard rental period (typically 14 days unless you specify otherwise)
What happens if my dumpster goes over the weight limit?
